Product roadmap
Roadmap
Track planned ZShip platform features, in-progress improvements, and completed updates across checkout, delivery, support, docs, store, and operations.
Planned 9
One-click app scaffold and manifest wizard
Provide a safer scaffold flow for new brand sites: copy the right frontend template, generate app manifest fields, reserve ports, add scripts, and highlight the exact files that still need manual branding.
Cloudflare account and resource provisioning workflow
Make multi-account Cloudflare deployment explicit, including account profile selection, D1/KV/R2 creation, database_id sync, Pages project selection, and verification before any remote write or deploy.
Environment, secrets, and migration preflight
Add a preflight checker that validates required env vars, secrets, service URLs, app_key consistency, D1 migration state, and production-only placeholders before a site owner deploys.
Release package and delivery verification
Harden the paid delivery path with source package/version metadata, license status checks, GitHub invitation retry visibility, download asset availability, and a buyer-facing next-step checklist.
Component catalog and starter blocks
Turn the component store plan into the first usable catalog: manifest schema, component categories, override support notes, install instructions, screenshots, and starter blocks for landing, pricing, support, and dashboard areas.
CI, typecheck, and smoke-test gates
Create the minimum release safety net for template users: workspace build/typecheck, core Worker type checks, payment/auth smoke tests, and deploy preview checks before shipping a copied site.
Production security hardening sprint
Close the highest-risk launch blockers around auth defaults, webhook verification, file access control, open redirects, unsafe HTML rendering, credit race conditions, and rate limiting.
Vertical AI SaaS starter packs
Ship opinionated starter packs for common ZShip users such as AI tool directories, prompt products, provider-generation sites, subscription SaaS, and content-led SEO sites, each with default copy, routes, configs, and admin checklists.
Post-launch growth and operations kit
Package the operational layer site owners need after launch: analytics notes, changelog cadence, roadmap maintenance, showcase collection, support workflows, customer messaging, and store-based upsell examples.
In Progress 3
Showcase and customer proof loop
Improve the public showcase and submission workflow so site owners can submit ZShip-built sites, track review status, and help new buyers inspect real production examples before choosing the template.
Admin launch readiness dashboard
Add a compact admin readiness view for D1 migrations, Worker service bindings, required environment variables, payment channels, webhook events, domain settings, and launch blockers.
Deployment runbook and troubleshooting path
Turn the existing setup docs into a launch runbook with deployment order, remote migration steps, rollback notes, common Cloudflare failures, and production handoff checks.
Completed 2
Customer portal and paid delivery baseline
The ZShip customer portal now covers pricing, checkout verification, orders, licenses, GitHub access requests, downloads, support, docs, changelog, roadmap, store, and showcase entry points so buyers have one place to manage the product after purchase.
New brand site guide and customization boundary
Document the first usable path for a site owner: create an app_key project, configure brand manifest, bind payment channels, set service URLs, deploy frontend and backend services, then verify signup and checkout.
